I’m really winding things up this end, so nearly at the finishing posts for my course…
I’ve just sent the final copies of Zines 1, 2 and 3 to the printers, I’ve fiddled and tweaked them so much since I first started, it feels weird to not be able to change them again. Even in the last 5 minutes before I sent them I switched 2 of the pages round. But it is a huge landmark to let them go from my sweaty hands!
I written before about my siblings not being happy about my zines’ content. In Zine 3 I have tried to address this by making it very clear that we have different view points and I’m only speaking for myself. I’m not going to push my work under their noses but hopefully, if they were to see it, they would be more understanding and accepting of my perspective? They also would not be easily identifiable with the work, I’ve given us all different names, as well as using Spillustrate rather than my real life name.
If the worst came to worst they could easily call me their “crazy sister”!
